Vision

The college aims to remain a leader and distinguished institution in preparing outstanding pharmacists to work in healthcare institutions, advance healthcare and scientific research, and provide society with well-trained and prepared pharmaceutical personnel by graduating competent pharmacists who believe in the ideals of a free and democratic new Iraq.

Mission

To graduate and prepare competent pharmacists who serve their country in all pharmaceutical fields, including health, education, and the pharmaceutical industry, thus contributing to raising the level of pharmaceutical services in particular and healthcare in general.

Objectives

To provide students with the necessary scientific knowledge, appropriate training, professional ethics, and skills required to ensure graduates meet the standards of the pharmacy profession.

To prepare and nurture students to pursue continuous self-learning to meet future challenges and developments in pharmaceutical sciences.

To offer modern educational programs that keep pace with the continuous development of the pharmacy profession.

To promote and develop applied research in the field of pharmaceutical research to improve therapeutic services, disease prevention, and the development of pharmaceutical products.

To provide pharmaceutical care services to the Iraqi community. Establishing channels for cooperation with national and international research centers, unions, and scientific societies related to pharmaceutical sciences.

Bridging the gap between theory and practice by translating pharmaceutical sciences into practical application and clinical training.

About the College

The College of Pharmacy at Gilgamesh University was established in 2023-2024. Since its inception, it has included many highly qualified and experienced professors specializing in various fields of pharmaceutical sciences. It has been a pioneer in providing scientific laboratories equipped with modern specialized equipment, which contributes to developing students' practical skills. Furthermore, the college updates its curricula in cooperation with reputable international universities.
